Wrong Turn

i saw this in the cinema the little guy is sooo funny and i love the bit where blue topped girl gets chopped and her body hits every branch on the way down the tree!!!!
 
OMG i loved this film it had all the elemts to make a good/crap film

I got several shocks
One part i was the edge of the chair
Gore
Story line :S
The people (the killers) are based on real life
 
Its alright but i think a better creepy film is Dead End,just bought it on DVD as i havent seen it for a while & i hope its as good as i remember! :cool:
 
i love Eliza 'Faith' Dushku!! :) i feel that Wrong Turn is an okay film, but fails in comparison to Jeepers Creepers which was out the Summer before.

in all seriousness, there hasn't been a fantasticly made horror film in donkey's years! in fact recently Drag Me To Hell is the ONLY US made horror film that has struck with me.

also i feel Wrong Turn rips off The Hills Have Eyes and Texas Chainsaw as opposed to be inspired by! nevertheless there's cheap thrills and shocks to be had :) i'd give the film a 3 star rating out of 5 very enjoyable horror with Eliza Dushku!
 
another 'similar' film to Wrong Turn and Jeepers Creepers is the EPIC Road Kill (Joy Ride in the US) by JJ Abrams (Lost,Alias,Fringe) which is my favourite thriller of all time with Steve Zahn and Paul Walker! if u see it on DVD BUY IT!! Road Kill :)
 
It's a good film, it's watchable. But it's a tad predictable, well what horror film isn't.

It does make me laugh when the coloured girl is to scarred to cross the log, then enRAB up getting killied. It's like you should of hurried up.

I love it when victiums atcully end up being the corse of thier death, Scream for example with Tatum (Played by Rose McGowan) i mean she had a chance of escaping the killier, but no she tries to crawl through a cat flap which is a major no no as its so obvious she will now die.

Also when the characters run up stairs instead of going out the front door.
 
i LOVE Wrong Turn!the part when they are under the hillbillies bed makes me cringe everytime!I think this film scares me more as there are elements of reality in it....
Also Wrong Turn 2 is good too and you wouldn't think so as it was straight to dvd
give Wrong Turn 3 a miss though as it is absolute CACK!!!!
 
Pretty good movie with some decent gore scenes,part 2 was kinnda gross with the mutant sex lol dont even bother with the 3rd,theres only 1 mutant and its really crappy.
 
re: Wrong Turn 2 - it's on next Wednesday.

If you loved WT1 but have avoided No2 due to its direct-to-dvd status and your assumed "can't be a match on the original", then let me highly recommend you watch the first 10mins (at least until the first kill). You'll then know if it's the movie for you. I'm saying no more.
