Prepare to be amazed.

I had two albums but cannot find them anywhere, so I got everything in one foul swoop. They are a damn fine band and if anyone thinks that Hip Hop is all gangsta and gold chains should give Tribe a listen.

James Hetfield, Voted nuraber 2 metal guitarist of all time with hits like my fav Creeping Death. I know Metallica may be a little over rated at times but James is my fav guitar player of al time/Song writer. Dave Mustaine close behind.

yes, but all those sites just have regurgitated music lists. I swear, everything from Stereogum to SPIN.com, all the music sites basically listen to the same albums. I would love to see just one list that doesn't have Girls as one of their Top 10 albums, or that didn't list Animal Collective as...

Joy Division blow New Order out of the water is another slight unpopular opinion of mine. Well, blowing out of the water may be a slight exaggeration. But Joy Division's sound, for me is in another league to New Order.

I was so into this song about two years ago, had it on repeat constantly. Great fun song. Lateralus, I assume you mean the non-acoustic version of Revolution, yes? Haha

Crikey, I'm not claiming they ripped off the underground. I'm just saying that virtually everything they did was inspired by other ideas of the time. No doubt, whatever they took, they made their own and unmistakenly crafted it into the Beatles, fashioning their own sound out of it. And besides...

I'm with you on this one, and I'll go a step further and say that no one on that album (Reed, Cale, or Nico) ever came close to it, with the VU or solo.

Hendrix seems to be winning... but I'll go for Zappa for his innovative style and quite simply guitar awesomeness.

If we want to be technical, we could just say that Caruso handily beats everyone named here. Now, whose voice do I probably relish the most upon first hearing? Probably David Bowie. If not him, Win Butler or Bob Dylan (who is a great singer by any standard I care about).
