It most certainly was. 1. Hm... I always felt Scream 2 was better..... slightly (mind you, slightly) 2. LOTR is consistantly good (maybe a little dip in TTT) I still love the first one, and its more of a saga instead of sequels, so....

That Chow Yun Fat's "The Killer"? Wouldn't expect much kung fu action in that one if I were you - more slo-mo blood and bullets - still a cracking film, mind. If you like it, check out Chow in "Hard Boiled" for another (even better) slice of John Woo before he went all soft.

I was wrong as League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse is due to be released on 22nd April in the UK so not long to wait! The Pink Panther is out in the UK on the 21st of October!

Totally agree. Of course any of the animated movies are better than BF and BAR. Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker is brutal especially if you get the uncut version. I mean there actually a body count.

If you're lucky, you'll get a handful of good horror films in a year. "Drag Me to Hell" was surely the high water mark for 2009, but this could be good. Between future releases "Carriers", "Pandorum", and "Paranormal Activity", horror hounRAB should get some satisfaction this winter in the UK.

I will be going to see all of the movies mentioned if they are rated a 12 if not will be buying them on dvd as they come out. Very disappointed to see Matrix Reloaded was a 15, my 12 year old wanted to see it but obviously cannot so to make him feel better I said I wouldn't see it either. So...
