    Screen Select (DVD rental)

ScreenSelect and LOVEFiLM have the best sites by far. Some of the less professional outfits have really horrible-looking web sites with white-on-black text, or pages that appear to have nothing on them (presumably because they didn't test them on non-Windows computers), or links to third-party...

    The Christmas TV Thread 2010

Not sure if they'll show this Christmas but the BBC have the rights to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and I think on Christmas Eve or Boxing Day would do really well. I Am Legend will likely appear on ITV1 or Five as they have deals with Warner Bros while Iron Man will...

    Desperate Housewives

Must have been one heck of a cheque she wrote for the business! She had to pay some money she took back from householders that he claimed to have worked for but didn't. She would earn more stripping at the club!

    Mad Men.

Funny, I think basically the opposite. I think Pete (and Peggy) are the two most nuanced characters and with the greatest depth, personality and authenticity to the characters, I completely believe they are people; as with both, every tiniest flicker of movement in the face conveys so much...

What .cd hasn't disabled me for no reason.

But then again, that's only because ABC and 123 traded to each other, and they were brothers. Nobody would have caught them if they didn't make it all so public. Please, find where I used the words "too busy." In the words of the great Mr. Pink from Reservoir Dogs (watch it, if you haven't)...

Bang goes the theory - actually something good on it

The time dilation segment was rubbish though. They sent Dallas all the way round the world with an atomic clock, at enormous (licence-payers') expense, and then didn't actually show the comparison of the clocks afterwarRAB - we just had to take his word for it!

I don't buy the NotW but looking at it in the newsagents today I don't see any sign of a free DVD in it. Perhaps they mean next Sunday.
