What .cd hasn't disabled me for no reason.

As for Idol being banned, perhaps you're oblivious to this as you are towards many things, but the FST mods aren't exactly popular in the eyes of some BT staff, mostly because this site harbors traders and doesn't give out their IPs. The staff here have been banned from various places before, in many cases being an ex-FST mod wouldn't help your case. While it's a narrow minded view and obviously isn't shared by all staff members, it does happen.

I thought I already said I give out IPs:unsure:

Thanks even if you clearly failed reading comprehension at school.

I have a rank?

O sorry I have misread your post... Just blowing off some what.cd anger  lol

Let me rephrase that.....
If you are ever to be banned for no reason, they will bend over backwards to re enable you as fast as they can.
(that is if they don't already know your affliation with this site, it which case they will never ban you)

Your rank is an ex mod that thousands of bittorrent users support.

I'd rather not explain that thing in details :P
It was stupid (and quite harmless) action and I don't know what was running through my head when I tried that on What site.

Just thought in light of recent posts I should balance things out.
I should note that I'm also even a pretty useless member of said tracker btw.

While I'm at it never had any trouble with staff from BitMeTV or HDbits either .Of course I'm not a member of ( or have any desire to be a member of) HDbits so they could be pricks for all I know.:idunno:

Where exactly did that happen? Aside from What/Waffles which was a joint decision, the only site I saw that banned it was PTP. And given the recent oh so fun accusations against them, one would think it'd be a place to avoid...

It's not something out in the open, but it's a fact that quite a lot of people understand quite clearly. The day a tracker as huge as What decides to do something, especially pertaining to their decisions of banning clients, it's not quite the same thing as if (let's say) BrokenStones did it.

One is a small, dedicated tracker that has little to no influence on the general community, while the other is a tracker where members archive whole collections in their client. Members would be more inclined to follow What's decisions, even when it comes to upgrading their clients. Even if it's not apparent, if it wasn't for What's decision, a lot of trackers could have (hypothetically) banned uTorrent 1.82-5, because those aren't perfect either, but rather, what we actually see, are trackers accommodating for 2.0 and other releases, at the same time.

But then again, that's only because ABC and 123 traded to each other, and they were brothers. Nobody would have caught them if they didn't make it all so public.

I really hate the whole busy excuse everyone is throwing around now. PTP already beat that excuse into the ground....

They are so busy at what.cd, but yet they have time to disable innocent members and then formulate a sick in-depth story.

Please, find where I used the words "too busy." In the words of the great Mr. Pink from Reservoir Dogs (watch it, if you haven't) "The words "too fucking busy" shouldn't be in a [staffer's] vocabulary."

What I was pointing out is priorities. I'd think it's much more palpable for a staffer in whatman's position to prioritize his own safety and put more focus into that, than attempt to reason and come to common terms with a bunch of dogs barking up the wrong tree (in this case, requesting the unbanning of their "Idol" should he ever be banned).

P.S. I really hate your whole vendetta against what. I was banned (somewhat unfairly, but I understand their reasoning) from What, too. I don't feel the impending necessity to run around here making a show of it to any scrollers.

If it's any consolation I did try to have them overturn the Vuze ban :pinch:

But the fact is aside from PTP we haven't seen any sites that specifically banned Vuze in a domino effect. While some sites make allowances for uT 2.0, others do not. And 1.8.2 and 1.8.5 work ok, it was .3 and .4 that were quite buggy. The only real reason most people didn't want to upgrade from 1.7.7 is because you can no longer force hammer the tracker ;)

they disabled me today....and if you guys have same problem like this

Your account has been disabled.
This is either due to inactivity or rule violation.
To discuss this come to our IRC at: irc.what-network.net
And join #what.cd-disabled

Be honest - at this point, lying will get you nowhere.

No mather what, do not be honest.

Haha, I like how BMTV and HDBits staff got dragged into the opening post randomly. To be fair, neither would ban anyone/warn anyone without glaring proof of idiocy. In both cases it works. For example the last time I've seen a certain HDBits forum troll post, was 2 months ago, right before his warning.

At any rate, this thread is no place for a serious reply. So I felt like pointing out that I've never deservingly been banned from any tracker, but I was caught in the firefight/witch hunt many a times.

Darn it. I got serious again. I can't unserious myself. Idol, how do you do it?
