Forgive me if this is basic (I'm very new to this forum) - but won't I then lose some functionality that the AT&T network offers?

hello all, i've had a nokia 6230 for about 3 years now and recently it stopped working. i plan on getting an iphone, but i need a simple phone that can text and make calls until the iphone is released. my conditions are that it needs to be usable on the cingular network like the nokia 6230...

I am not considering the PDA's because I have owned several, and do not want to have the extra bulk in my pocket, or have to worry about carrying around a 600 dollar phone. I'm perfectly fine with a 300 dollar unit, but nothing twice that amount.

So the other day I dropped my Motorola E815 and the antenna broke off. My friend dropped it in a cup of water before this happened so I can't send it back to the manufacturer. I'm aiming for another Moto but not a razor... Is there any other phone to get that's good? I'd also like to know about...

Too bad you can't wait any longer for the 6500 Slide/Classic. For Nokia, I would go for the 5700 or the N73 (too common though).

well that functionality alone shows they can do it, I'm sure plenty of neat channels will be added in the future. each for a reasonable fee

Knowing your provider and possibly a price range would be a big help.

So, I've had my N80ie for a little more than a week now and everything has worked perfectly. Today, when I go to surf the internet via my 'Web" browser (NOT my 'Services' browser) it doesn't open and the app just freezes...it seems my phone will no longer let me surf the web via the 'Web'...

i did theres nothign and all applications are closed hmm oh well if anyone knows please help thank you.

i think they are going to explode. so many people who dont have one, havent heard of one, or are stil waiting for one will get together with family members and get to try one out over the holiday. this thing is a hit. and no im not a fanboy of any type. its just that this thing is great
