Most of those movies seem to only have been barely released even in America (or at best made directly for video or cable). On the other hand, A Very Brady Sequel was in line for cinema release by Paramount but ended up going to video because of censorship problems... go figure.

Has anyone seen this film? I noticed it searching through my internet DVD site and thought I'd add it to my wish list. It arrived today. Is it worth watching? Strange thing though - rated 15 in the UK and 18 in Ireland. Wonder why?

You hit the nail on the head there. I think Hollywood are making remakes as they usually put bums in seats and make lots of $$$, while they wont make an original film as it could be a flop - and of course Hollywood thinks of money rather than originality.

They do kinda ruin the films... I don't get how they can get rid of such big parts of the book but they always do...
