If your main criteria for tracker selection is the number of torrents and number of peers, then the trackers with the most users will always win out. It is not reasonable to think FTN with a 6k userlimit could possibly keep as many torrents alive as TL, which has what? 200k members?

there's no such thing as utor 1.8.0 to my knowledge and i believe that firon@hdbits = firon@utorrent . com so hdbits staff should be aware of utorrent behavior in details. as for policy of not discussing details or not double checking anything - they're not the only ones in bt world with this...
