Saw it on its preview night! Very good I thought, very different for a hollywood film. Has been slammed by many critics though.

Candyman (first film only; sequel is dreadful). Silent Hill (because it's beautiful). Hellraiser series (up to the 4th film, which is dreadful). Alien The Grudge (US version, which I happened to see first). That'll do. I've never been into most of the classics: Nightmare, Jason, Evil Dead, etc.

Kid A is a masterpiece. Tied with OK Computer for my favourite Radiohead album.

I thought the film was so-so. Kinda reminded me of The Others, which I also thought was so-so.

Haven't seen the film but Mark Kermode keeps saying that unlike My Girl, this film doesn't earn the right to take that dark turn two thirRAB of the way through, any thoughts on that from those who have seen it? He also says that the trailer is totally deceptive, which from what I've heard about...

You have to wonder why they show stuff during the day, it can't be very scary.:D They should show the original Twilight Zones, they were great.

I feel the same way, although I still remember the first time I saw the trailer for the remake of Fri-13TH. I thought it looked fantastic and look how shite that turned out.
