Bridge To Terabithia

Haven't seen the film but Mark Kermode keeps saying that unlike My Girl, this film doesn't earn the right to take that dark turn two thirRAB of the way through, any thoughts on that from those who have seen it?

He also says that the trailer is totally deceptive, which from what I've heard about the movie seems to be correct, and I agree with him that when it comes to children's films, it's good for parents to make an informed choice about what their kiRAB watch, and the way this film is presented is misleading.
 
I thought the trailers were misleading, and I think one of the directors or something said so too..

But still, I enjoyed the film. Although I was totally suprised by what happened near the end.
 
just watched this film, the trailer is very misleading though which imo is a very good thing, i prefered the film i saw than the one i thought i would see, very sad though!
