if i get 2 15 inch subwoofers at 600 wats rms a peice and if i get a kicker 1000

Derek, the subs wattage rating is only a POWER HANDLING figure. It means how many watts the sub can safely handle, maximum! Subs dont "push watts" The amp is the only thing making power. If you have a 1000 watt amp, it only makes 1000 watts.

    Amp for my car stereo?

Yes, it would help, but you really need aftermarket speakers as well, as the stock ones cant handle much power at all. If you want quality, LOUD sound, you need to upgrade everything.

Kicker L5 15 blown need help?

You probably had the gain way too high. The gain is NOT A VOLUME KNOB. If its too high, you will fry the voice coil.

is a 300 watt kicker amp enought for 2 350 rms 10in subs?

A 1000 watt amp wont drain a battery, you have other issues. The alternator powers the amp when the car is running. 300 watt amp will work, but you will not have very loud bass.

where is a good place to buy car audio?

    1. Finding a custom box for a 95 camry will be pretty hard, if you can find one at all. 2. Stay away from powered bazooka tubes, you can do better. Believe it or not, ebay is a good place to buy car audio, I have been doing it for a decade. There are also sites like sonicelectronix.com that...

i have a zx1500.1 kicker amp i think its 2 ohm stable what will happen if i give it a 1

Dont do it. Its not 1 ohm stable for a reason. What impedance are your subs???? If you have three dual 4 ohm subs, you can wire them to 2.66 ohms, which will be FINE.

    I currently have 2 12" alpine type X's and should I switch for 2 kicker 15" L7's?

Really dont think it will make enough difference to justify a new setup and box. The type x's are very capable. If your box is not ported, stick the X's in a ported box for more output. Theoretically the kickers would be louder having more cone area, but this is only in theory. There are many...

    orion cobalt 800.1 amp problems?

You never want the gain all the way up DUDE the gain is NOT A VOLUME KNOB. Its meant to match the input voltage from the head unit!

What amp do i need for 2 12" Kicker cvr's that peak at 1600 together and....

Earl the gain is NOT a volume knob, you just cant tell someone a percentage! And amps dont "handle" wattage, the subs handle wattage. The amp produces the wattage. A pair of kicker CVRS want to see anywhere between 500-800 watts RMS. The dual 2 ohm versions want an amp like the kicker...

want to use car audio equipment for home use?

Terrible Idea, I dont know why people want to do such a thing. You will need a 12v battery to power everything. On top of that, you will need a battery charger to keep the battery charged. 12 volt power supplies are far too expensive for models that would be big enough to power all of that. You...

is all speaker wire the same? walmart 14gauge vs rockford fosgate 14 gauge?

Dude seriously, wire is wire. If they are both truly the same size copper wire, you would NEVER hear a difference. Fosgate buys wire from likely a similar company, slaps their name on it, and marks it up!

Would new speakers for a 1990 toyota corolla work up to their full power?

You dont NEED an amp, but it will definetly power them to their full potential. If you are using a stock head unit, I would highly suggest upgrading to an aftermarket head unit, as the newer models will have more power than an old 89 weak radio. Just install them and see for yourself. If you...

whats the best affordable amp for a Kicker L5 12" Dual 4-Ohm subwoofer?

Kicker ZX500.1 is a good choice. Or any reputable brand, most of them make a mono sub amp thats 500-700 watts at 2 ohms mono. Your 600 watt amp will work fine if it makes somewhere around 600 watts RMS @ 2 ohms mono. (give or take a few hundred watts).

    can i power a kicker 12" L7 4ohm with a pyle 1600w 2-channel amp?

I think all L7 subs are dual voice coil, but its not a good match. Plus, why in the WORLD would you power a nice kicker sub with a totally garbage Amp? Peak/Max power ratings mean nothing. RMS power is what you need to look at. And then remember that crap flea market brands like pyle use fake...

    How do i build a box for a kicker l7 15"?

Well, you dont really need chicken wire lol. Start off with a sheet of 3/4 MDF wood. Try to make all your cuts straight! You will need a drill, some wood screws, wood glue, some caulk, a terminal cup. Polyfill isnt necessary actually. Here is a box building program that will give you...

do i use a mono block or a 2 channel? i have two 12'' kicker cvt 4 ohm and i

You need a MONO amp that is 2 ohm stable. Using a 2 channel amp would NOT be ideal in your situation. You need to wire your subs in parallel for a 2 ohm load. DUDE the ohms has nothing to do with "over or underpowering the subs".You have to match the subwoofers impedance with the amp for the...
