A lot of 3G phones say 800/900/1800/1900/UMTS (or WCMDA)
The 800/900/1800/1900 are for GSM band only.
In those phones, we can probably bet it's UMTS 2100 unless it's a North America marketed phone.

P.S. I use aim, the only client that isn't way overpriced is JonnyChat, and although it works fine, a full featured client would be nice.
Is this phone available as part of a 1/2yr agreement plan with cingular? All I can seem to find online is unlocked models(unlocked and overseas non contract combonations I am not willing to do with my first phone purchase) ... 5mb internal memory is also kind of weak..

L7 is a good choice, due to the T-Flash, and the music player. Plus, it's thinner and sleeker than V3. It also depends on your preference, flip or candybar.

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I've had a few phones and although all of them uniquely different none have completely met my standards.
Things I would adore in a phone-
1. Reception/Service
2. Small- I want it to be able to fit in the back pocket of my jeans in case I go out to a club...
