I kinda experienced something like that, but i can't really say because I have not had a whole lot of time with it. It seemed like it wasn't really pushing through like it was supposed to...delayed pushes. Was that what you were experiencing?

If Nokia had Android I would have waited. But after having this Captivate for a week or so and rooting/unrooting/messing with the OS and going back to stock,,,I cannot imagine going back to Symbian.

Yeah I don't like seeing that too. Although the worst one I've seen was not Anime it was Rogue from Wolverine and The X-Men. Every time I see her in it the hair over the eye thing just looks really badly done.
I saw it in 3D last night in New York (I'm across the Atlantic visiting my brother for a week, and this was a sterling opportunity). I agree that the 3D effect was used expertly in this feature to provide immersive depth and make a convincing case that this fantastical realm actually exists...
What I mean by "Made ya look episodes" is when you think a character is going to develop in an episode, but in the end, nothing changes and you find that you watched thirty minutes of an average episode.

The artwork did have similar traits to Mucha Lucha since the creator worked on that show, but I thought that it was much, much better than the artwork for that show. The voices also didn't annoy me anywhere near as the voices for Mucha Lucha either.
