I've had both, I'm a fan of fiat, but the Mazda is more reliable, quicker, cheaper to run, and safer, only the parts cost more and space in the rear is less. BUT The fiat 1.4 engine is legendary for destroying itself, you will not find a top end anywhere as they are all trashed, AVOID!

I used to stock my 2 bike shops from scouring the 8 tips within a 10 mile radius of me. expect to pay a tenner for a reasonable bike, and go on a monday morning, Have had some amazing finds. Freecycle is of course absolutely necessary too. LUCK!

Hi mate, the pedal is also left hand thread, use a GOOD QUALITY spanner and a rubber mallett, and go for it like a man possessed. The crank will then wriggle through the bottom bracket effortlessly. Why are you removing it out of curiosity?
