after someone has been convicted and sentenced in a criminal court for fish and game violations, would it not be possible or feasable to turn around and sue them in a civil action? many judges are notoriously lenient on these types of violations. there are still way too many people that feel it...

no. won't stay on the hook. use fresh mackerel. but can probably use the canned for chum or baiting your catfish hole. punch some holes in it and toss the whole can out.
