    they have these things called sneakerboots. hightop, very lightweight,good traction, cheap ones available at any Walter -Market. But go for something halfway decent like Merril(tm)

    they work fine, but the squeaking is driving me batshit! Oh.., the bike is a Diamond back Response. not sure what make the brakes are
