you need new brake pads...and if you havent changed the brake pads for a while you might have to replace the rotors...when the break pads wear out it goes down to the metal so when you use the brake that metal is grinding on the rotor, with makes the rotor have an uneven groove...

my 97 rm 125 is stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear i took the carb off to clean it and when i put it back on it was idling super high and kicking itself into gear. i looked at the carb and the slide was held open, no biggie i fixed that took it down the road and realizied it would not come out of 3rd now...
