I have a Toyota Camry 2000 CE, the volume knob of the stereo is Free, i.e. volume is always fixed (on lower side), now how do i know, if the problem is in the Stereo OR the Knob ? Is it possible to take out the Knob and try to increase the volume ???? More information.... The knob is moving...

I have Engine check light ON, the error message is P0128. With reference to my post yesterday, i might have to change thermostat of my car. Now i have two questions 1. How do i find out that Thermostat is not working ? 2. Is it possible to replace thermostat on my own ?
