What Maddie says is completely right. 2 gallons is tiny for a betta let alone a gold fish that should be kept in at least a 30gallon. There is no bacteria breaking the bad stuff down, no filter to clean and it sounds horrible. I don't want to be mean but you should learn how to care for animals...

1 GALLON IS RIDICULOUS. Please don't do it, bettas i think need at least ten, then you could have a male and a female and some other small fish. They need a filter and a heater and goldfish need at least 30gallons don't buy any fish, it is basically torturing them to death.

I like Dusk or Dusky. Or maybe Night Crawler, like the X-men guy. Or Raindrop, Silouette, Shadow, i like a few of those. I think when i have some compatible tank mates i am definatly getting a betta for my 22 gallon, everything i read makes them sound awesome.

Yeah the pleco gets big. Maybe you should go for a variety of different dwarf cichlids. That looks good and a planted tank.

the best thing you can do is google it. And then go to a fish shop, a reliable one, more like an aquarium than i petshop chain and just talk to them about it. Also look in images 'Brilliant knight discus' there is one really good looking one

A few days ago i bought 1 bristlenose catfish, a few days after i bought some algae discs or him but he doesn't even notice them and they jsut get water logged and fall appart, what should i do to make him eat? there isn't much algae for him to eat in the tank.

make sure where ever you put them it has alot of surface area for the oxygen to diffuse into the water. When you get a new tank it can take weeks before your able to add fish. I would go to a fish shop and you can buy the good bacteria in bottles which will help with the cycling.

Could be white spot, that's a parasite that is real nasty. If you don' thave a filter you should get a small one. There are plenty of medications out there that you should try him on. Also do a partial (25%) water change everyday for a week or so. The sudden drop in temperature might have...
