ok i have my akai xr20 pluged into my with a midi to usb cable.....im tryin to record my beats with mixcraft...but all i can do is use the akai as an midi controller...i cant record my beats....do i need a different interface...all it is ,is an midi cable that converts to usb ...is that all i need?
