try running a lead from the hot wire in the fuel pump relay, that will kill the relay when the swicth is off and cut the power to the fuel pump even if the car is in the on position.

wow dude that engine is messed up and if you have no idea what you are doing then you are in for a mess. Take it to someone who knows what they are doing unless you feel brave then start with the bolts on top of the cylinder, and go from there.
something is cocking the caliper piston to one side. I would check the disc for warpage, and flush the brake fluid. also check the alignment of the caliper bracket.
