...same planet as the rest of the world? Central to the prosecution case was an interview he gave to the New York Times in 1998 in which he said he had planned the attacks,
(his alleged involvement in bomb attacks in Havana in 1997 in which an Italian tourist was killed) although he later retracted the statement.
Cuba and Venezuela also want to extradite him for allegedly masterminding the bombing of a Cuban airliner in 1973, which killed 73 people.
Had the bomb attack been in New York and the airliner attacked had been American his feet wouldn't have touched the ground, and you wonder why the world does not trust you?

The US screams for justice against terrorism, except when the terrorism is committed against a country like Cuba. This makes the US a terrorist supporting country, exactly the same as the countries that the US criticizes.
That man has been protected by the US for years. American hypocrisy.
