    What are u plugging in? You could get a 12v motorcycle battery which is much smaller than a car one. But it would be up to you to make a bracket and or attach it to the bike.

    sounds like u need a new muffler, or your exhaust system has a hole in it somewhere.

    the noise is probably coming from the power booster. check the vacuum hose on it for leaks.

    Check your spark plugs. Are you sure no wires came unplugged when you were working on it?

    sounds like u need a new blower motor. you can check it by unplugging and using some jumper leads to the battery and see if it works. if it does then its probably the blower switch

    Can u take the panel all the way off? It would make a lot easier to see whats wrong inside. Have u tried opening it from the inside and pushing hard on it? Maybe the hinges are rusted because it hasn't been opened for awhile.
