I just bought a 1993 buick century, just drove it to work out of state, went to check the oil and noticed that it was about a quart over full, so I drained a bit from the filter. After I did this I started the car and it ran for about 10 seconds then died, I found the ecm fuse was blown so i replaced it also found after I replaced the fuse I had no fuel pressure, so I droped my gas tank and found a short in the sending unit I fixed the short and the fuel pump seems to be working fine, now it runs real bad and has trouble idleing as well as running when you give it any amount of throddle, I even tried directly wireing the fuel pump to the battery with the same results and checked the pressure on the fuel rail and it squirts out fairly well, the car ran like a champ before this problem any ideas?
no plug wires were moved or disconected
almost sure its related to the fuel problem, just trying to figure out what else there is to the fuel system becides the pump and sending unit as they are working as they should.
