Sadly I have to agree. The book was incredible and the movie...well, it was painful at some parts. And much too rushed. I'm hoping that New Moon is much better.

First let me say how thrilled I am that this will be a movie. Even if we have to wait several years for it to be completed. :D It still thrills me. I love the muscial (and the book) and think they'll be able to pull off a good movie. Now, not to start a riot...but I highly doubt that...
