Happened to me earlier today trying to evade the police in a cruiser. Hit a dead end, cut through an alley, and BOOM!. I hit some debris, I figured it was an explosive tank or some shit. Pissed me off.

next movie: Bane is an early villian, breaks his batmans back, gotham celebrates. While in recovery, Penguin rises to power in gotham with two-face's help. Batman heals. Somehow Penguin becomes tarred in public opinion, and Bale has to get rid of Two-face, penguin,and bane.
