dark knight plot/story questions/discussion. *spoilers out the ass*

I guess looking back my only major complaints were:
Not enough jokerBale when he had the real raspy voice going at times was hard to understand. The Batpod flip on the wall was cheesy. The trip to Hong Kong could have been cut out but it was good eye candy.Bales performance was amazing but its going to go unrecognized due to Ledger and Eckheart.Joker just hanging out there and nothing really happening to him....WTF?

Harley would've been a plausible charachter had Ledger not bitten the bullet. Al she needs to be is crazy enough to love him, and strong enough/lucky enough to survive him killing her over and over again.

Poison Ivy sans the sentient plants would be do-able but they wrecked that with The film not to be named (batman and robin)

They will definitely bring back Two Face and it will work perfectly. Not only will Gordon and everyone lie about how Dent died, but they are completely lying when they say he died at all. He'll be put in Arkham to rot while everyone thinks he died a martyr. He'll escape, etc etc.

the dynamics of that relationship would be a rough sell to an audience that doesn't understand it. to someone that doesn't know any back story, they get away with explaining the joker as "some men just want to watch the world burn" harley is just as much of a head case as joker is and i don't know if they could do that story justice.

that, and i sincerely doubt they'll do anything joker related out of respect.

Well the joker Angle is closed off now. So Harley is out of teh question. But She would've been a great charachter, but yes, a hard sell to teh non-comic/non-cartoon audience that doesn't know her. I think it would be hard to sell a female character that is just as much an anarchist as the Joker AND that she's in "love"/obsessed with him, AND that he can keep "killing" her and she'll still stick around to an American mainstreem, non-dork audience...

He next used a pig, as pigs have nervous systems close to humans. Lifted off the ground, the pig began to spin as it flew through the air at 125 mph (200 km/h). It arrived on board undamaged but in a disoriented state. Once it recovered, it attacked the crew.

Do you guys really think they'll just never recast the Joker "out of respect"? Maybe not the next movie, but if they keep doing these (and I think they will) the Joker is too important a villain to just be forgotten. Ledger played a role, that's all. No doubt he played it exceptionally well but that doesn't mean they won't recast the Joker. People die, the show must go on, etc. There will at least be a cameo of him at Arkham playing cards or something. My guess (hope) is he escapes by the end of the next movie.

In for the Riddler being in the next movie, but I doubt they'd change it from E. Nigma to Mr. Reese. It is possible though. I seem to recall Nigma being fired by Fox, then becoming the Riddler so it is possible (it was in the animates series so it may not be accurate, and it may not have even been the Riddler). I just can't see Nolan changing something like that for no apparent reason.
