its probably just your solenoid i would go to advance auto and get them to check your alternator. its free so it couldn't hurt any thing. since you said theres no power the only thing i could figure if its not your solenoid or alternator its your battery terminals. somewhere your BATTERY is...

i have a 91 ford tempo i swapped my 95 with 120 because of same reasons when you turn the volume up the lights go dim. i havent had a problem sinse i can now use my under glow with out runnin down my battery

were was the sound coming from? i think it may be your starter or loose connection is it flooding and does the ecu light come on. if so it could be a sensor
