    Just don't water them too much. Let it dry some between watering. Been doing it all the time. I have an aloe vera growing on a flower jar actually and other plants on a glass jar without drainage and they're doing alright. You'll be fine. Just follow your instinct it's part of planting indoors.

    If your land is suitable habitat for them they will come. Just leave it wild as much as you can. All the animals will come in I'm sure. Especially if your land is attached to close by forest and into the wild you'll be rewarded in the end. As I said keep it wild. Nature will do it's own trick...

Break all the soil, leave no clumps. That's done then you go and get flowers and plant it where you want them...
