question about indoor gardening?

Just don't water them too much. Let it dry some between watering. Been doing it all the time. I have an aloe vera growing on a flower jar actually and other plants on a glass jar without drainage and they're doing alright. You'll be fine. Just follow your instinct it's part of planting indoors.

My experience ended when moss grew along the inside of the glass jar. The soil stayed too wet, too long, and the plant died. But the moss grew on as if nothing were wrong. I kept it for awhile; my own personal moss garden!

A side note: be sure to protect the plants from too much light. Glass will cook the plants faster than a plastic or clay pot will.

the area ideal for an outdoor garden is occupied by project cars lol so Im kinda limited to pots and containers. I was thinking about growing some herbs either for food and/or medicine. I have plenty of mason jars..could I use them as a container? even though they dont have drainage holes? if you have any good informative websites or personal experience, please share :)
