    Why can't I get my speakers to fit in my 97 Ford Escort?

    Number one, You have a FORD... thats a POS... Number two, if you have 6 inch speakers and they need 6.5 that should be obvious... just look and use your head. if they are to small then get bigger, if they are to big get smaller... pretty simple... Front: 6-1/2" Rear: 5" x 7" there you go...

    A good car stereo system i can get (i.e. subs amp speakers and deck?) ?

    I like loud but i like really clear vocals. so i go with Kenwood deck and JL Audio for everything else... But just the deck is 400.... So if you are going for cheap then go with a Walmart pioneer deck with Sony explode subs and speakers.
