1500.? When warmed up and driven: at up-shift the tach goes up to 2500 when you push in the clutch. Drives good otherwise. Temp gauge shows normal temp.Check Engine light came on, I haven't read the codes yet. Ideas?

i had a little earlier camry 4cly that wouldn't start. pulled the distributor cap & turned the engine by hand. while doing that i saw the rotor didn't turn too. the timing belt was broke. had to replace it & that fixed the problem.
