Woody Harrelson: 'Zombies are ecological'
Thursday, October 1 2009, 15:16 BST

Woody Harrelson has joked that a zombie infestation would be an ecological blessing.

The Zombieland actor told Parade that a takeover by the undead could be of interest to former US vice president and An Inconvenient Truth writer Al Gore.

Harrelson said: "In my mind, zombies are pretty ecological because they eat humans who are causing most of the ecological damage to the planet.

"So, if you think about it, it's better for the environment if zombies are overrunning the Earth. Maybe I've got the plot for a sequel here which might get the endorsement of Al Gore."

He added of his role in the movie: "I'm a pacifist. I really don't like killing even zombies. I'm a peaceable guy. I just hang out in my bathing suit in Maui and spend a lot of time in the ocean with my kids and surf and stuff.

"I'm a good worker, hard worker, but a world-class vacationer. Before I started making films again, I took a five-year hiatus just being a bum in Maui and I loved it. But, unfortunately, I had to go back to work."

Unique way - that's gonna be funny

Alot of ppl liked the trailer alot as well (the reviews i read), and said it looks funny

Yeah I think that is her mom in the bottom right hand picture :D I've seen her before when Abigails done interviews and she's been in the audience and pointed out.

 I  that they all look so clean and well groomed as well considering that the world is ending. This looks like its going to be really funny. Early reviews are hinting that it will be anyway :D It'll be interesting to see how Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin kill the zombies. Apparently they have some unique ways to kill them.

I love how the world is falling apart and Woody is getting a kick out of the killings of zombies.

I also find it funny the world been overtaken by zombies and everyone alive looks so clean.

This movie is so funny with just a little bit a gruesome and few moments that made me jump! I loved the "rules" to survival :lmao:. I can't wait for this to come out on dvd so I can watch it whenever

Yeah, everyone seems to have really nice things to say about her. I don't think I've ever heard her co-stars say something bad.

Yeah it will be nice to hear her views and also her co-stars who she is working with - and what they think of her, its nice hear what her co-stars think of her in all her movies

Abigail Breslin: Hard at Work on “Zombieland”

She came to fame in the fun-loving “Little Miss Sunshine,” but this time around Abigail Breslin is trying her hand at a suspenseful thriller.

The 13-year-old sweetheart was spotted hard at work on the set of her new film “Zombieland” over in West Hollywood yesterday (April 19).

Looking like a scene out of an early ‘90s grunge video, Miss Breslin sported a plaid shirt with distressed jeans and work boots as she took a break between scenes.

“Zombieland” is about a guy described as “the most frightened person on Earth” who looks to find refuge in a world overrun by zombies. It hits theaters this October.

I really enjoyed this movie. My husband says to me, "is that the guy from Superbad?" He thought Columbus was Michael Cera.

I am really interested in this movie. I'm a huge zombie movie buff and this looks original and different.

I hope we get some good clips etc to see before the movie is released. It'll be interesting to hear Abigails views on playing this sort of role. Sounds like it'll be less dramatic and more comedic then she's used to which'll be nice :D
