Zoloft and alcohol....please only answer if educated on subject?

Whether the Zoloft is for panic or depression it's still Zoloft. Antidepressants shouldn't be taken with alcohol. The combination can be deadly and Zoloft isn't recommend to be taken with alcohol. My advice would to be to order virgin drinks or drink N/A beer.

I am on 50mg Zoloft for panic attacks NOT depression. I have been on it since August and have been told to stay on for 6 months. If I go out with friends and have a few drinks, will it be that bad? I have been trying to read up on it and I see mixed opinions. I don't NEED alcohol of course, but I'd like to go out and enjoy myself without being worried. Someone with either an experience or knowledge on the subject please answer. Thank you!
