There's also the fact that Bit hardly does any real planning or strategy in a fight. He just lets the Liger do all the thinking and plotting.

You could corabine Tsunade from Naruto, Misty from pokemon and Chi-Chi from DBZ and you still wouldn't have a female as crazy as Leena.
This chick is.is...she laucnhed missiles at Bit for walking in on her in the bath. She shot Harry for "standing her up" when he was taken hostage.
Oh poor Harry...I feel so sorry for that guy.

I just finished NCZ.
Gotta say I miss the more serious/epic feel of Chaotic Century but it was still fun and I think that was the main point. The series suffered mainly for me because it lacked a credible villain. I nee a good villain in my fave shows..I dunno why. The Backdraft Group was okay and Vega was nice at the end but he was only around for like 4 episodes. So it didn't exactly leave much of an impact.
I gotta say the best part was the Judge an dDark judge. Especially when they got attacked or destroyed.

To be fair, this scene was heavily edited in the dub. As I recall in the sub, Bit walked in on her while she was preparing for the bath (naked) and hilarious antics followed until she got pissed off enough to launch missiles at him. Seems almost justified, but she is pretty crazy. XD

I definitely would agree that the main point of NCZ was to have fun and enjoy the antics of the team and their intense battles. NCZ really tried to have a credible plot, but most often it turned out silly rather than serious. I still really enjoy the ending, especially the battle between Bit and Vega, but I agree that it lacked a real villain to make things interesting.
If you get the chance I would definitely give ZoiRAB Genesis a try. It's very reminiscent of Chaotic Century and has that serious/epic feel to the plot, plus there's a pretty evil main villain. But Genesis also has episodes that are centered around humor, much like NCZ. Overall I felt it was a well executed mix of NCZ and CC, and it's probably my second favorite series overall.
