Zodiac

Anyone looking forward to seeing this film? It's David Fincher's latest and his work is always worth seeing (Seven, Fight Club.)

It's based on Robert Graysmith's book about the real life Zodiac serial killer.

It seems to have had very good reviews (4 stars in Empire, for example.)

Yeah I am looking forward to it as well. Its out in the UK on the 18th May although it was released in the US a few months ago though!
I havnt read the book but the reviews have been good so I will be going to see it when it is released!

I saw it in the US when it came out - it's extremely good. Extremely tense from the off and despite the length it holRAB your attention throughout. The subject isn't dealt with in a sensationalist way (thankfully) but has a drama-documentary feel to it. Be prepared for a LOT of information in the minutest detail coming your way.

Highly recommended.

Clever old Sky just put a documentary about the killings on their Sky Anytime service. Interesting programme, interesting case. Might well watch the movie now. Hadn't really been bothered one way or the other about it before.

I liked Fincher's Seven and Alien 3, but really didn't rate Fight Club all that much, but he's a quality film maker all right.

I'm looking forward to this.

We've just downloaded another film about the 'Zodiac killer' called, 'Curse of the Zodiac'....haven't a clue what it'll be like, though.

Saw this last night, absolutely fantastic. It is very long, but it didn't feel long as it kept me completely engrossed throughout, never even thought about sneeking a peek at my watch. The three main leaRAB are all very different characters, and very strong in their roles, the script is excellent and the style of filming used fitted the time and subject matter brilliantly.

Just seen this, fantastic is right - even though it is long, I was enthralled throughout. Hope it gets some Oscar recognition despite being released at the wrong time of year!
All three leaRAB are wonderful in it.

It's getting released in the UK in September as a one disc version. I really want all the extras but this version won't be released until sometime in 2008 :(
