Shock, horror - who in their right mind would even consider that dappy 2 dimensional blonde who just can't get accents right to play such an icon as Janis Joplin. Please someone prevent this outrage. There are many less superficial actresses out there who could sing the blues like Janis and mean it. For some reason I keep thinking of Courtney Love - she would do Janis justice and I'm sure play the part with understanding. What do you think?

They're making another movie about Janis with Pink playing the lead role. Might be more believable.
