hi, just heard about the passing of zelda, i am saddened by the news, i thought she was great as tangina in the poltergeist films, and i will miss her. RIP

Ah, that's sad - she made that film, for me.

I will remember her as the police dispatcher Ginny Weedon in the first two series of Picket Fences.

She was an excellent, if minor, character who added a lot to the richness of the series. "Maxine pushed me," she exclaimed when discovered eavesdropping at the sherriff's door.

Her departure from the show in series three was handled beautifully. She was discovered frozen solid in her freezer.

I also loved her turn in Poltergeist 3. She took over the film from the moment she turned up. A wonderful actor.

Last news report I read had Miss Rubenstein's family rubbishing news reports that she was dying and they actually said she was getting better.

She must have taken a turn for the worst.
