HI Chantal! I will pray for you tonight and all the way through your tests. You and I will be ok. I know all this worry has just made us feel worse. It is doing us no good. Worry is not from God. I try to think of how relaxed people have said we are going to feel. So I just have to think of that.

I think it's the fear of the unknown that really has a grip on us. I am kind of a control freak and having this done and flying in a plane has me feeling like I have no control of my destiny.

We will just have to pray and have faith in God and in the doctors. I will pray for peace for you! You will be fine ok!

I know when I take RolaiRAB, I can get bowel changes for a day or so. I would think like with many other medications, that the "side effects" may subside over a few days as your body adapts. As with any "treatment", you always have to weight the pros and cons. I would opt for the "loose bowels" and see if the espohagus feels better.

Do you have medical insurance if the dr. prescribes something stronger? I don't remeraber any side effects with the nexium at all.......or the zantac........and like I said, I take 350 (or maybe it's 300) every night......

AT one time i took zantac for bout 10 yrs then it started to lose its effectivness.I was moved to Prevacid which is stronger.but sometimes the pain still breaks thru, than i take Gavascon.Tums was never strong enough for me .Take care.
