No - I guess the proxy you're using to announce is oversaturated (as with the vast majority of open ones).

Would you mind posting which proxy you're using to announce? I tried a lot of open ones, but couldn't even reach the login page. Which is strange considering one of our users could access the site (although he was unable to log in). There where two CGI proxies that worked perfectly, but are now down.

Look back at page 5. I explained some things there. From that website you can find good proxies.

on torrent.ru, sometimes things get removed by the copyright holder's request as you are downloading it. this is quite scary, not to mention it kills your ratio because you can't seed it back. zamunda and demonoid would never do that.

i found a working solution...jus use proxy in utorrent...wait for the tracker to connect...whn it starts finding peers, set "no proxy"...u can dwnld with ful speed...cheers!!!

I wonder if they start disabling accounts that are inactive because users cannot connect.

No word on inactivity pruning but they ran a message on their homepage news section saying that 63,000 accounts have recently been disabled for poor ratio :blink:

With uTorrent's proxy settings. It's been explained a few times in this thread already:

Make sure you don't have torrents from other trackers running, some of them may ban you for using a proxy.

I have already been to that site and none of them worked. I just wanted to know which server (IP and port) you were using right now in uTorrent so that I could give it a try.

If it's one that's listed there right now, then open Bulgarian proxies must not like me.
