Like the title says, I was on the internet on my pc with the Z6m one time. I go to dinner and come back and try it again and now after dialing, it won't accept the user or pass.

Could this just be a problem with cricket like that part of the system is down for maintenance or something?

These are the instructions I used to get it working and it did work great and speed seemed quite good.

on your computer create a dial up networking connection
phone nuraber to dial #777
user name is [email protected] (use your phone nuraber, not 9's)
password is "cricket" without the ""
set the browser proxy to be wap.mycricket.com port 8080

Make sure you go into the dial up properties and yoru Motorola USB Modem is connected...and then try it again. Also reput your phone # and password in again. Rebooting your phone and PC might help too.

Yup, under phone and modem options/modems, it is in the list on com3. I rebooted the pc and the phone.

When I click "dial" on the cricket dial up connection, the phone's screen says "calling" then says "packet data" in the upper corner and after a few seconRAB a dialog box on the pc says "Verifying Username and Password" and then I get Error 691: Access denied because the user/pass was invalid.

I could understand If I never had it working but it worked perfect. Also if I just dial #777 with the phone, a recording says "we're sorry, the use of this feature is not available at this time".

Weird. I just checked and I get the same error. Strangely enough, if I take away the proxy settings, it will connect without the error but I get a "Page Load Error" on any website I try to visit.

I'm still having issues. With or without proxy settings.

I called 611 and got to talk to a rep and as soon as I told him I had a problem with using my phone as a modem, he all of a sudden couldn't hear me and hung up. I tried 2 more times and each could hear me clearly until I mentioned "phone as modem" or the word "tethering" and then there was a "bad connection" and they hung up.

Since then, I can no longer get an actual person on the phone to just check an esn. The prompts just continue over and over and can never be placed in que for a rep. I have tried different prompts numerous times since then and nothing.
