Z500 Dead - need some help.

Hi - have been trying to flash this dead Z500v - the previous owner had flashed the phone and killed it, he told me he had flashed it and it failed during the bootloader - I can get the bootloader screen up but its flashing on and off - not permanent like it should be.

I just wondered if anyone knew how to get past this or how to fix the bootloader.

Not neccessarily the only solution. You can try taking out the battery, holding 9+"on" while inserting the original USB cable that came with the phone. The phone will then be in download-mode. Then use MultiLoader to flash it.
 
who said that isn't the only solution?! who said he din't tried? the same happened to me and i diit all i could do, even that you said and the phone was completely dead
 
You are correct - once bootloader has been damaged then phone have to be sent away.

Anyways got a new problem now - got z500v here and trying to decustomise it - flashed with Z500MMEG1_Unbrand from tst support site and now phone backlight has gone...
 
i think you made a mistake.
maybe you switched the flashes when you tried to flash the phone
 
This is very common when flashing,
if you look carefully near a light you will see screen is hardly visible,
just walk to setup->contrast, once then increase it and wop, phone light back again,

Hi - thanks for youre reply, I reflashed with original software and all was ok - I then reflashed with unbranded s/w and noticed I didnt put the two rsrc files into the flash... this is what mucked up the backlights etc, now fixed.

Hi all,
i was reading on this forum in the near future the NS dongle will be able to flash Z500 after being killed with mulitloader. Hope it won't take long, i have the same problem .
 
hi friends.. i try to unlock my samsung sgh-t309 with samsung vector and now i cant get it to powre up can somebody help me please??
