I have a friend who has this particular brand. any help would be appreciated. i've tried 00000, 12345, and a couple of four digit codes, but no go.

So, what are you trying to ask for? Are you asking to use it on a different provider...? Did your friend lock the phone...? What? Please be more specific.

sorry, by the time i posted that, i had been looking for the code for around six hours.
it's the phonelock code. Tis not the sim, or this PUK, but the regular phone lock code. it's really annoying. i apologize for not elaborating, but when you post something after searching for so long, you're bound to slip.

No worries. By default, it should be either one of those codes that you stated in your previous post. If it's not, then your friend more than likely changed it and only that person knows it. You'd have to flash the firmware to reset the phone to the default code. Use either woatanserver or davinciteam.
