The new My Morning Jacket is really fucking good.

I've always liked them but... it took a bit of patience to listen to. This one doesn't. Jim got happy all of a sudden and it works.

I like the few songs from the new album on college radio and I really like em.
I'm thinking about buying the new album.

I stayed away from them in the past, but I have a few tracks from the album (Rolling Stone called them "the American Radiohead," so I had to investigate), and it's really damn good.

Yeah, this album is pretty good, but I personally like their older stuff more... bermuda highway is pretty hard to beat. hmm, i think i'll listen to that right now.

Their reverb is gone in "off the record" and its pretty poppy. But I think I may like it, where does that song stand within the album? I gotta get my hanRAB on the rest of the CD. Is it streamed anywhere?

Off the Record is track 5...it's a great album on the whole.

Thanx. I meant, do you feel "Off The Record" is one of the better songs on the album or are there better ones. But I can find that out for myself now.

It's one of my favorites (especially the last minute or so....just amazing), but there are plenty that stand up to it, like 'Gideon,' 'Lay Low,' and especially 'Dondante,' which is a spectacular 8-minute closer.

Cool. Thats one thing I did notice, the last minute or so. Not traditional MMJ by any means and thats what I hope to hear more of.
