i am looking to get a dirbike of size to last me the rest of my growing im 15 5'6 and 140lbs i like the 250 2 srokes and i know there is not much of a different in speed between any class but i want to know wich has the name of being reliable because coming off a 4 stroke fourwheeler the only prob i have had with it in 2 years is broke the back axel so can someone help me on how long a 250 dirtbike will last me b4 having to do maintnance and how fast will it be compared to a yfz 450

If you're coming off a quad stick with the quad do not try to cross. If you do plan to cross then I suggest you buy a smaller bike. However the most reliable is Yamaha. I got in a major accident on my bike, I'm extremely lucky I didn't break my spine or anything else, and my bike still runs great the Handlebars are a little bit bent and the plastics scrached but it is one tank of a bike and the stand up to anything. I think you would be better off on ATV's considering thats what you rode and buy a YFZ. I'm about the same weight and height and age and I ride a Raptor 250. With a pipe and Jet Kit it runs fast enough for me. Also the 250's will be a little slower then the YFZ maybe by a few MPH if you both go top speed balls to the wall. If you want a two stroke and decide to go with the ATV buy a Banshee. Those things rip.

Any of the 4 will do you fine. They are pretty similar.

I recommend you buy the bike that has a dealership near you so that you have easy access to parts and maint. Don't buy the KX if their isn't a Kawasaki dealer in your town...
