(1) Yo. Magical Dimension special summons a magician and then destroys a card; Barrier Statue (i.e. of Stormwinds/Torrent/Inferno), stops/does not allow Special Summons that aren't the right attribute.
So if I have Barrier Statue of Stormwinds on the field, and my opponent activates Magicial Dimension, and if he cannot special summon a magician, can he still destroy one of my monsters? Likewise, does he still have to tribute one of his magicians?
(2) Also, if I chain Magical Dimension with Swallow's Nest to bring out Barrier Statue as a chain to magical dimension, then is the special summon still negated? And is the destroying part still negated?
(My argument is that Magicial Dimensions cannot destroy because to destroy a monster, it first has to successfully special summon a magician because the text states, "THEN destroy.."...but I'm not sure of this)
(3) Also, if I have Barrier Statue (i.e. Stormwind) on the field, and my opponent Mind Controls its, then can he use the Barrier Statue as a synchro material for a non-wind synchro monster?
(For this scenario, the correct way to synchro summon is to declare 'synchro' first, then select your target; cuz of this, my opponent can't target any of his non-wind synchro monsters in his extra deck to special summon. Again, Im not sure on this.)
