Yu-Gi-Oh GX Season 3 Finale and Season 4

While that's a shame. I didn't think that they would put season four episodes right after finishing season three. I was thinking that they would just have it on there eventually, either on a weekday morning slot or on DAS for some reason. I'm still hoping that CN will eventually air the season or 4Kids puts it on their website at some point.

That would be a nice idea, but I would hope that they would put season four on their website, if not on television, before putting it on DVD. It would take them even longer to get to season four on DVD than it would on their website due to where they are right now. They've just barely have half of season one and are finally starting up again with The Rise of the Sacred Beasts set that comes out in October.

That's right. I believe the first twenty-eight or twenty-nine episodes are on four separate single DVDs and they're finally releasing almost the entire Rise of the Sacred Beast arc in a two discs set that should be coming out in October. Unless they have to delay it again. I don't know what you're talking about with Avatar since that series also has single discs released before releasing the entire season on a box set. If you're talking about a box set, I'm not sure if they'll do that for GX. I'm hoping that they'll continue with at least a two-disc set instead of singles, but I don't think that they'll release the whole series at once. They could try for a box set for season two, but I'm not sure if they'll do that either.

From what I heard, Season 4 is not even going to be dubbed because Judai's VA quit 4Kids. And after seeing the Jp version of the series finale, you should consider yourself lucky to not have to sit through that cop out.

Not even. There were only 4 volumes, which went up to like episode 20.

I've heard that Jaden's/Judai's voice actor moved somewhere outside of New York, but I heard it during season three, before they even got to the Dark World arc. While I don't like it when voice actors are replaced, my opinions on the whole Pokemon situation alone proves that, but I don't mind it so much if either the voice actor/actress either doesn't want to do the role or heaven forbid passes away. If it is true that his voice actor quit, I don't see why 4Kids couldn't just get a replacement for the last season. Besides that, the majority of the rumors I've heard all come down to 4Kids wanting to dub 5D's and this is the first time I've heard of this.

Trust me, I've heard a lot of negative comments about season four, including the ending. I've actually heard some people consider it one of the worst endings to an anime. Regardless, I'm still willing to watch it for myself in English. I seriously doubt that it can be any worse than season one was.
