Someone emailed me this video.

What do you guys think??

I'm planning on sending him an email to get more information.

What do you think?

I agree, it was a pleasant surprise. I'm quite excited to see this app as well.

Slowly slowly, the need to carry my laptop with me is fading away.

I've sent the person (I think he's the developer) an email.
So far I've asked him the following questions:

What is the app called?
How does it work?
Do you have a website that I could link to?
Can I view all youtube videos with this or only select ones?
Will it be a paid or free app?
Can I access my youtube profile and upload videos with this app?

I'm hoping he'll respond quickly and answer all my questions!!

It's not an app. It's a video call to a service from the looks of it. But that seems cool. Too bad we don't have video calling over WiFi or 2100Mhz 3g in the US.

I'm not sure if you've seen the spy shot with it next to the E61. Visually it looks pretty damn sleek to me considering all the possibilities it packs. I understand though as the E61 was very slim and sleek and I loved it too.

With Nokia partnering with T-Mobile for their 3G deployment, there's a good chance that we might see S60 phones specially designed for T-Mo in the near future.

you know i never have gotten into the youtube/online video thing. I have a few posted for my blog and whatever, but i can't ever think of a time when i'd want to just sit and watch youtube, either on my pc or mobile.

I dont make it a regular visit unless a blog directs me to a posted video. It's good for things like the initial n95 videos but I dont use it frequently..although it's still nice to have as an option.

Other than the N95 vids a few months back that's what I usually do as well. It's also a nice tool to see video quality on certain cell models. Checking out endless N73 video clips was ultimately what made me take the plunge.

For someone like me, youtube is actually more important than having a tv at home. Its because most of my day is spent in the university, shuttling between job, classes and finishing classes. So by the time I reach home, its generally quite late. So rather than watching tv (and paying for cable), I prefer to watch most of the stuff (music videos, sitcoms, movies, sports matches etc.) in the univ on youtube, during the free time I have.
