I'm writing a feature for a UK computing magazine on using Palm handhelds while travelling.

I'm especially interested in hearing how using a Palm has improved your travelling experience. Do you have practical tips? Did your Palm ever get you out of a fix? Does it make travelling easier?

Please email me if you'd like to tell your story.

hello
yes, with the Metro app, i'm much more easily visiting big cities like lisboa, lyon or marseille...driving a car, the bluetooth gps + a T3 makes it much easier too...
different but nice : in plane or train i'm now used to watch movies or listen to music (with Kinoma Producer/Player and PocketTunes). Good earphones are an absolute must...
thinking of it, the wifi card is ok to read emails in the airport lounges, answering is not so nice though since i do not like writing on screen...
also checking pics from my digicam sd card is cool
does it reply to your request ?

all the best

I have a language translator application on my pda. I use it quite often. When we are staying at hotels throughout the country, I am more able to communcate with people from different countries along the way. I also recently went back to south Florida to see my son. In this area, the population of Spanish has grown almost immeasurably. I found my pda to helpful in translation.

I also have many telephone numbers, i.e hotel chain numbers, etc. I recently found myself somewhere without hotel reserrvations. I used these telephone numbers to make reservations and find a hotel.
