mm i would say

5- gaara (naruto): mental issues, my best thing in a character jaja and gaara totally fits xD

4- haji (blood+): mm he's just so hot and kicks ass.

3- lucy (elfen lied): i feel identified with her specially, cause sometimes i'm all sweet and others i could just slice everyone to pieces xD

2- integra (hellsing): she doesn't show emotion and i just love that xD

1- robin sena (witch hunter robin): she is pretty, awfully powerful, has a cute partner and gets to burn people with her mind... what else would i want to be? xD

^-^ My top favorite anime characters~ =D In order:

1) Watanuki Kimihiro from xxxHoLic: Besides the fact that he's the main character of my favorite anime series; he's hilarious, he's an Aries (XD), he can cook (a guy that can cook is hot), he's sensitive, and he's overcome a lot (not to mention having the backbone to see creepy and unnatural things on a daily basis).

2) Jing from Jing: King of Bandits: His skills are impressive. And when he's with the other girl character, he's just sooooooo adorable~! Can't help but

#2 would be hmmmm...oh taiga from toradora
#3 has to be vash from trigun hes funny too in a corny way
#4 lets think, Hedeki or however you spell his name from Chobits
#5 and last but not least Ed from cowboy bebop she is fuxin hallrious
 
1. Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop) He is just a cool laid back guy, that can also kick your ass within a blink of an eye. I honestly don't think there is anyone cooler than Spike. My favorite by a mile.

2. Kazuma Kuwabara ( Yu Yu Hakusho) At first I didn't care for him at all. I thought he was an annoying punk at the start of the show. However not only did he grow on me but he became one of my favorites. He is so freakin hilarious. Yusuke and him always fighting and bickering and everytime he says "Yukiiiiina Baby" in that child like voice cracks me up. I think it's funny that he acts all tough but has a sweet spots for cats lmao.

3. Revy (Black lagoon) This chick is just badass, a pure killing machine. Ofcourse she didn't have that great of a upbringing but who does in Anime? I just really liked her and it was refreshing to see a chick be THAT hardcore. There is another side to her, some of my favorite scenes is with her and Rock. If you have seen it you know what I'm talking about.

4. Neji (Naruto) I really like Neji for a few simple reasons. One being his special ability. I think it's one of the coolest in the entire show. Sure Hinata has the same thing, but Neji is just really cool. It was really close picking between him and Rock Lee cause Rock is one of the most BADASS charecters in the show but yeah. I went with Neji.

5. Kanta Mizuno (Desert Punk) Call him the Demon of the Desert, call him Desert Punk or whatever you want. This guy is Ruthless, kineiving, Disloyal, Perveted and rude.. but you GOTTA LOVE HIM. Seriously one of the funnist if not the funniest charecter of all time. Hands down his antics get him in trouble. He does what he does, tricks people or what he can to get the job done. The only thing that distracts him is a huge rack or "milkmounds" as one of the MANY MANY words he uses for Female Breasts. lmao I love this show and he is by far one of my favorite's.
 
Kuroro Lucifer(HunterXHunter) - A superb leader, dedicated to his team, smart,cunning and very very dangerous, he can copy any skill and has a huge team that he can control

Laughing man(G.I.T.S.:Stand Alone COmplex) : A genius, super hacker, and very rightful and just. A lone wolf that kills his enemies with his brains. Very unpredictable and has the good looks.

Soujiro Seta(Rorouni Kenshin): Lightspeed movement, very cool and very calm. at a young age becomes a genius of heaven sword technique. blink twice and you're gone

L Lawliet(Death Note): He's logistics is far superior than Light, Smart and Rich, very cool and very organized. His plans are well thought of and his decision making skills is very surprising.

Death the Kid(Soul Eater): he's very smart and very particular with symetry, a child with obsessive cumpulsive disorder. he's symetric obsession makes me laugh and he got the chix's(Thompson sisters)
 
1.Saber(Fate/Stay Night)-My most faovrite female character in anime, no question about it)
2.Suigintou(Rozen Maiden) - Even though she is shown as the antagonist of the series she has a good reason for that. I just love the way they made this character(and her outfit is aweosme too).
3.Haji(Blood+)-Probably the most awesome Chiropteran in existence, I just love his personality(and his cello) as well as his loyalty to Saya
4.Maggie Mui(R.O.D TV)- I just love this anime archetype and she's such a strange and quiet character(I can also relate to her a bit since I have a similar personality)
5.D(Vampire Hunter D and Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust)
 
My list would look a little something like this:

I like all of these characters for a common reason, their witty, resourceful, and they all look pretty cool.
